Go Food Fight is operated by Middle Tennessee Mediation Services, LLC ("we", "us"), a Tennessee limited liability company. This policy explains what information the Go Food Fight app and website collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.

What we collect

• Email address. Provided when you create an account with email, or shared by Apple or Google when you sign in with them. We use it to operate your account and for account-related messages such as verification emails. Your email is never shown to other people in your party.
• Display name. The name you choose at first sign-in. It is the only name other party members see.
• Gameplay stats and badges. Counts such as fights played, matches won, and sessions hosted, plus the badges those counts unlock. Used only to show your collection in the app. Other people in a party do not see your badge collection.
• Coarse (approximate) location, only while you use the app. Everyone in a session is asked, not just the host. We use approximate locations once, when a round starts, to work out roughly where your group is and find restaurants near that point instead of near one person. You can decline and still play normally - your location simply is not counted, and nothing else about the app changes. We never collect location in the background, we never collect precise location, and we never show anyone's location to anyone else. Nobody in your party can see where you are; the app only uses the calculation to pick a search area. Locations are held on the session itself and are deleted with it within 24 hours.
• Crash diagnostics and basic usage data. Crash reports and basic service logs that help us keep the app working.

The launch email list (website only)

If you enter your email address in the "Get told when it launches" form on this website, we store that address so we can tell you when the app is released. This is separate from a Go Food Fight account - signing up for the list does not create one, and you do not need the app to sign up.

• What we store. The address you typed, the page you typed it on, the date, and a random code used only to identify your unsubscribe link. Nothing else - no name, no location, no device information, and no tracking pixels or open tracking in the mail we send.
• What we send. One confirmation email straight away, and one announcement when the app is in the App Store and Google Play. That is the whole plan. We do not sell, rent, or share the list, and we do not use it for anything else.
• How to stop. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately and needs no account and no reply. You can also write to support@gofoodfight.com and ask us to remove the address.
• How long we keep it. Until the launch announcement has gone out, after which the list is retired and deleted. If you unsubscribe before then, we mark the address as opted out and stop mailing it immediately; we keep that record only so the address is not accidentally mailed again, and you can ask us to erase it outright at any time. Addresses that bounce or are reported as spam are marked the same way and are never mailed again.

The mail is sent using Amazon Web Services, the same provider that runs the rest of the service. It does not pass through any other mailing or marketing company.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, or background location. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising networks, advertising identifiers, or cross-app or cross-site tracking.

Advertising and sponsored content

Go Food Fight does not show advertising. The app contains no ads and no third-party advertising software.

We may add sponsored content in a future version. What we have in mind is a sponsored restaurant card inside the swipe deck, sold by us directly to the restaurant, and restaurant business profiles where a restaurant supplies its own photos. If we do that:

• Sponsored cards will be clearly labeled as sponsored, and you can pass on one exactly like any other card.
• Sponsored placement will be based on which restaurants are near the party's search area, not on a profile of you. We will not target sponsored content using your personal information.
• Any reporting we give a restaurant will be counts only - how often a card was shown, liked, or won - and will not identify you.
• Selling your personal information to advertisers, adding a third-party ad network, and tracking you across other apps and websites all stay off the table. If that ever changes, we will say so on this page before it happens.

We will update this policy and our app store disclosures before any sponsored content appears in the app.

How long we keep it

• Sessions expire 24 hours after they are created. Session data (the party list, swipes, and votes) becomes inaccessible at expiry. The automated cleanup that permanently removes expired session data runs on a schedule and can lag expiry by a few days.
• Account data (email, display name, gameplay stats, and badges) is kept until you delete your account. Account deletion is an active process that removes your data promptly - it does not wait for the scheduled cleanup.
• Crash diagnostics are kept only as long as needed to diagnose problems, subject to the retention limits of our crash reporting provider.
• Launch email list addresses are kept until the launch announcement has been sent, and the list is then deleted. Unsubscribed addresses stop receiving mail immediately and can be erased on request. See the launch email list section above.

Deleting your account

You can delete your Go Food Fight account at any time:

• In the app: Settings > Delete account.
• On the web: the account deletion page, which works even if you no longer have the app installed.

Note: each sign-in method (email, Apple, Google) creates its own Food Match account. If you signed in more than one way, delete each account you created.

Service providers

We use Amazon Web Services to run the app, Google Maps Platform to find nearby restaurants and their photos, and Sentry for crash reporting. Restaurant data and photos are provided by Google and are subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.
